Hello everyone. I have been reading with interest the messages you all have
been posting so I decided to sign up. I have been a "bird person" for nearly
60 years and have lived in the Seattle area (Woodinville) since 1970. My
primary interest (or should I say passion) is photography of birds. Although
I have been published very extensively in years gone by I have been inactive
until the first of this year. I have converted to digital ( yes I know, its
been around for a long time) and have been having a great time. I am
re-shooting many of the birds that I have previously recorded on slides. I
have a website which is still under construction but it has several images

I am always interested in photo opportunities and would appreciate any help
that you on this list can provide. I hope you don't mind if I contact you
when you post something of interest to me. I have Canon equipment with
lenses up to 600mm. I try very hard not to disrupt normal bird behavior when
I take my photographs.

P.S. I have a large pond on my property with many wood ducks throughout the
year. One day last September there were 110 of them there to eat the feed I
put out. I'm thinking that may be a record for the most wood ducks in one
place.
