About a dozen visiting Evening Grosbeaks settled in around my sunflower-chip feeder today.

Visited Bowerman Basin at high tide Saturday and found it disappointing. The tide line was quite far out and the number of shorebirds fairly small. Better looks were available at the Ocean Shores beach.
