Yesterday a Calliope Hummingbird visited the feeder briefly, and another zipped through the Corfu willow patch west of town. A FOY Lark Sparrow was just north of Royal Lake on both sides of Byers Road, which is the Adams-Grant County line. The County Line Ponds had many stilts and avocets, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, 10 Wilson's Phalaropes, about 80 Least Sandpipers, and still a few Dunlin. This morning after I left for work a Rufous Hummingbird and Bullock's Oriole visited our backyard feeder.
