It was chilly this morning at CNWR. Crab creek trail highlights are a GOLDEN CROWNED sparrow at the loop. Was among numerous white crowned sparrows and some Lincolns. 2 Wood ducks were sighted as they called after being flushed. There are the usual orange crowned and nashville warblers, ruby crowned kinglets, western kingbirds, and a couple brown headed cowbirds. The currant flowers are nearing their end.

I also saw a single white throated swift off of 15.1 and E road on refuge property.
