Well, let's just get this over with so I don't have to pick away at you for 3-4 days. Last winter my wife and I drove from south Puget Sound up I-5 to near Conway, Washington.

This trip was one of the highlights of my 2 year birding career and I took a lot of photos. Some of them are actually pretty good. I previously posted some Trumpeter and Tundra Swans that we enjoyed in the same general location, but that location was rather tame compared to where the Snow Geese were found. A lot of action was going on and there were several Bald Eagles waiting off in the distance. For them I guess it was like going to the local Pig Trough (Old Country Buffet).

Each link contains about 3 photos. If you haven't had this experience, keep an eye on Tweeters this next winter. When you see that these birds have arrived, be sure to go out and see them. It is amazing!
