Tweeters,

Was able to run down to the Stanwood Sewage Treatmant Ponds this afternoon for about an hour. The marshy area just inside the gate had more water in it than I've seen in over a year. Not sure why. No birds seen in the marsh.

Inside the main ponds were some of the higher overall numbers of peeps that I've seen there. Continually flying in various groups over the main ponds never really landing anywhere except some groups landed briefly on the floating "things" towards the east end of the main pond. Birds of note were:

Least Sandpiper 100's
Western Sandpiper 1000?
Killdeer 10
Semipalmated Sand about 10 ID'd, probably more
Semipalmated Plover 1
Wilson's Phalarope 1
Spotted Sandpiper 1
Dowitcher sp. 4

Peregrine Falcon 1
Redhead 1
Am. Wigeon 1
Bufflehead 1
Coot 1
Cinnamon Teal
BW Teal
Shoveler
Ruddy Duck
Mallard
Ruddy Duck
Hooded Merg
Lesser Scaup
Ring-necked Duck

Eur. Collared-Dove 2 on ground near main entry gate flew upon arrival, 1 Mourning Dove nearby flushed just after
