Subject: [Tweeters] Johnson/DeBay Swan Reserve

Today WDFW made an internal decision to alter the boundaries of the
Swan Reserve. This issue will be heard in front of the WDFW Commission this
Saturday, Aug. 9 in Lynnwood. Prior to today, the official recommendation
that was presented to the public in their Green Sheet briefing was to
maintain the present boundary. However, they changed their mind behind
closed doors and prior to the completion of the public input process. The
new Green Sheet is not yet available on their website.
It appears they have decided to give more weight to some in the public
than others prior to the end of due process.
If you are concerned about the Swan Reserve, its integrity and how WDFW
is dealing with the public over this, please contact me off list.

You can see the original Green sheet by Googling: DeBay Slough. Please note
that this is not what they are planning to do.
The new Green Sheet may be available at the WDFW website tomorrow, late.
