Hello Lonnie and Tweeters,
Loren and I got there on the right tide little early before 12.00 noon and the Godwit's already was seen.Non of this birds had a supercillian and we watched the birds flying, had a white rump,We all stayed to the tide was all in,and we noticed there really was not that many Godwit's or Whimbrels. So partly of the group was missing. It was real hot in Tokeland, and in Bottle beach the wind picked up the sand,so visibility was pure.Is good that we went there earlier and saw few Shorebirds on the pond and in the distance I saw 2 Snowy Plovers,on the left side of the beach,on the second visit we had a lot of Shorebird on the pond in the back, but do to the sandstorm it was hard to ID them. But one of the birds came closer and this was 1 Semipalmated Sandpiper.
We also looked at Graveyard Spit and did not saw any Elegant Terns.
Cheers Ruth Sullivan

HI Tweeters,
Has anyone gone to see if the Hudsonian Godwit was still present at Tokeland, either yesterday or today? Thanks,
