A flock of GC Kinglets was foraging in the forest lands early this morning. This seems earlier than usual. After our non-spring spring and our late start to summer, I feel unprepared for this harbinger of fall and winter! But I've lived in the northwest only four years -- can long-time birders weigh in on their usual arrival dates?
