Hi Tweets,
I leave for work too early to check out the morning action at Edmonds
Marsh but I have been going down each evening this week from 6 to 7
p.m. except Tuesday. Monday evening I counted about 20 birds.
Wednesday it was up to 40 birds. Tonight I counted 75+. They have
been primarily Western and Least Sandpipers. One evening there was a
Semi-palmated Plover and on another evening I think I had a juvenile
Semi-palmated Sandpiper. The usual Killdeers are there. I haven't
seen yellowlegs since last Saturday morning when there were three
Greater Yellowlegs.
Good birding,
Carol Riddell
