Hi Tweeters,
A Merlin was recently observed in Seattle with two bands, a normal USFWS band on the left leg and a VID or colored band on its right leg.
Anyone out there know who might have applied this band? And it was not Jack Bettesworth or me. Bird Banding Lab has no record of any local permittees. We are curious as to where it might be from.
