saw an odd looking goose at borst lake (borders mill pond road in
snoqualmie) today. it was hanging out with a pair of white geese that
appeared to be domestic geese to me. the goose in question looks to be a
juvenile with either canada goose or greater white fronted goose genes (or
maybe both). the adults were sleeping, but appeared to be all white with no
black on the wings or tail, orange feet and bill. maybe one of the east
side masters could swing by and take a look (hint, hint, john tubbs).
