Another good bird and bus connection is Marymoor and the Montlake Fill. Route 545, Seattle to Redmond, connects both places. This is one I like to do. I will start with Marymoor which is a pleasant walk away from the 545 stop along the Sammamish River Trail. I get off at the Montlake Station on 520, and from there can walk to either the Montlake Fill or the Arboretum.
