It's often better to be lucky that good.
I believe we caught the very first Vaux's get-together of this years
Southbound migration. 250 birds came in from the east and down the
Wagner Chimney at 10 AM this morning.
Fish and Wildlife got a video cam a tiny ways into the chimney an hour
later and they all sat, actually clinged, around for that all to
happen.
And so it begins.
