Tweets,

I just watched two adult Forster's Terns feeding over the lake at Kenmore
Logboom Park. On two occasions they came over very close in. Called "keek,
keek" which appears not to be distinctive of the species, but large, silvery
white upper wings without darkening of the primaries above; tail appeared to
lack dark outer webs of outer tail feathers and to show light gray on the
interior of the tail. Bill of one at least was orange with a black tip,
rather long. Some primary molt I believe. This was at 3:30 PM. Also there
were about six Purple Martins including one pair of adults feeding young in
the gourd.

Subject: [Tweeters] American Redstart at Juanita Bay Park

This morning at Juanita Bay Park I had an American Redstart in a flock
consisting of about 25 Bushtits, 10 Black-capped Chickadees and a
Yellow Warbler. The flock was along the causeway just after you reach
the bay. Other birds in my brief visit include a Greater Yellowlegs,
two Willow Flycatchers, an Orange-crowned Warbler, four Yellow
Warblers, a Western Tanager, three WC Sparrows, and a BH Grosbeak.

Good birding,
