Subject: [Tweeters] bizarre bird sighting on my top floor condo deck

Folks,
A medium-sized brownish, sleekish, heavily striped bird landed on my deck
and started eating seeds, dropped suet, everything in sight. I thought
that this looked sort of like a pipet? Eh? NOT! A moment later, a
lovely and tiny, compared to the brown-striped bird, Black-throated Gray
Warbler landed on the deck bringing food to what-I-realized-now-had-to-be
a fledgling Brown-headed Cowbird. Have never seen a fledgling up this
close, and Oh, My!
And so it goes, me2
