Tina Blade and I walked Juanita Bay Park this morning. Lots to hear,
and a few highlights spotted. Notably, we discovered a young SORA
poking around the reeds and lilly pads on the north side of the end
of the east boardwalk; a young (and, at times, humorously klutzy)
juvenile COOPER'S HAWK in the large willow east of that point; and a
pair of FLYCATCHERS (most likely PACIFIC SLOPE and either a WILLOW or
ALDER -- anyone know for sure?) in the brambles northeast of the
large fallen willow (downslope from the restrooms).

Geese were gathering and honking loudly overhead, and I could not
resist including a shot of one such bird overhead.
