Hi All!

Though this isn't the first time we've been visited by local peafowl, (first was a male about a year ago) this Saturday a peahen walked up our driveway and has decided she really enjoys our place. She roosts on the roof at night, and struts around the grounds during the daytime. We're assuming it's a 'she' due to the lack of long, decorative feathers. She seems to be fairly tame, and has been enjoying our naan, cat food, and various fruits tossed around. We asked a neighbor about her and they said they were visited a while ago (but I think this was the male) and it just left whenever it decided to leave. I'm concerned, however, about housing...last night it poured rain and she just sat by our sattelite dish all night on the roof. We've got lots of dogs around, and I know there are coyotes, too. I'm wondering if I should try to go through making a temporary covered roost for her, or just assume she'll be okay and find housing she prefers.
Thanks for any input!
