My friend, Julie, who lives in "rural" Snohomish had what she calls a
malevolent crow around her house until about a month ago. This crow flew at
her whenever she came home or was working outside and it cawed continually
until she went inside. It killed or chased away ever other bird in the
area. She often found both dead young and adult birds in her yard that
appeared to be the victims of the crow. Finally one day while she was
talking to me on the phone and was outside walking around, she found a dead
adult crow lying in her pond. She couldn't determine if this was THE crow,
but there were no attacks or raucous calling at her thereafter.
