Hi Tweeters,

Today I took the alleyway between Westlake Ave N. and Terry Ave N. going north from Republican and saw the strangest thing. There are some wires coming off of a building on the west side of the alley. They sort of form a basket the way they are arranged on the building. Inside the basket is a crow sized nest made mostly out of sticks with some debris like twine/garbage.

Nearby on Republican is the Blue Moon Burger joint-good place if you are ever in the mood to eat really greasy but good chow. No affiliation from me but worth a mention for those burger/fry cravings that might accompany birding in Seattle. (Maybe this is why the crows may have nested nearby...)
