Tweeters,

Marymoor from 7:30-9:30 AM today was birdy. Also, while I was driving into
the park from the east entrance, a coyote walked across the entrance road
right in front of my car, so I guess the park was coyoty too. I spent most
of my time along the river, and spotted a GREEN HERON and four MALLARDS at
the weir, and three WOOD DUCKS at the first doggy dive. In the low trees
between the path and the main part of the park were two WILLOW FLYCATCHERS,
half a dozen BLACK CAPPED CHICKADEES, and a WESTERN WOOD PEWEE. In the
trees along the river opposite and north of the rowing dock were 2-3
WARBLING VIREOS and two BLACK THROATED GRAY WARBLERS chasing each other at
high speed from perch to perch. A SWAINSON'S THRUSH flew rapidly over my
head and disappeared. BARN and TREE SWALLOWS were everywhere, as well as
ROBINS and CROWS. Back at the north end of the path, a WILSON's WARBLER was
in the trees next to the river. Nine CANADA GEESE sailed overhead one
direction, then went back the other way, apparently having a leader who
flip-flops.

Not a lot of vocalizing from any of these birds..
