I would like to thank all of the great people out there that
responded to the request for input on the juvenile jaeger that was
photographed on the pumice plains at 4,000' on Mt. Saint Helens. The
overwhelming opinion was that this is a dark morph juvenile Long-tailed
Jaeger, the second Skamania County record for this species and from a
highly unusual location.
