Hello Tweeters
Hearing the weather report it did not looking so good with getting cooler
Snow in the mountain at 6000 feet and rain showers. But it was all different
on the coast sunshine all day with no rain to the end of the day over
Olympia. After a nice day birding the Best surprise came on the end of the
day what made this trip so special.
It so special as I was playing for some reason unknown the record what was
played on Patrick's Memorial December 2007 the emotional song by Celine
Dion "The first Time Ever I Saw You Face." For some reason I was so relaxed
still kind of looking for some birds to flying. And there it was on a tall
tree, a little Pygmy Owl,I remember the area so well as Patrick spotted
close by three years ago close to the same place.Only it was much later in
the day as we got out of the car to get a photo of the Owl.This was
Patrick's trade looking up all the time,I start doing this trade no.The Spot
was on Highway 8 going North mile Marker 19.And than driving out from a
tunnel of tall fir trees dark dark Sky over Olympia ,but there was the large
RAINBOW the sign of hope ,making this day a rememberable day of birding.
