I have been watching a single Clark's Grebe yesterday and today (8/30 and 8
31). Location is

Swinomish Channel north of La Conner. It has been in the stretch of channel
just south

of the end of Channel Drive. For a while it was keeping company with a Red
Necked Grebe. This

is the first Clark's I've seen in the slough in 20 years of residence here.
