for what it's worth, you should NEVER EVER open an attachment that appears to contain an email postcard. you should NEVER open ANY attachment until you have verified the person who sent it KNEW they sent it AND you are supposed to receive it. this pertains as well to those of you who think you can't be hit because the message appears to come from someone you know dearly. a significant fraction of the time, that person has been infected, and is passing along those genes to the rest of his contact list.
