Hi Tweeters,
This Morning (Wednesday the 3rd) I visited Renton trying for the Palm Warbler. I spent about 2-1/2 hours strolling along the Cedar River Trail. I had parked close to the boathouse and started walking upstream, looking in all the places that had been reported on Tweeters. When I got to the STOP sign I turned around and started back. I was able to add #193 to my life list when I found the Palm Warbler foraging on the ground just inside Boeing property by the Liquid Nitrogen tank at 12:45. After watching this cute little fellow for several minutes I continued back to my car. I walked out to the boathouse and checked out the birds on the Lake and then got in the car to leave. As I drove by the spot I had seen the warbler a Boeing employee was inspecting some pipes nearby so I felt my chance of finding it again were slim to none but I pulled into a parking place and started looking around. Within a few minutes the man had gone away and the warbler returned. I snapped a couple of distant pictures of him through the chain link fence before he moved deeper onto Boeing property and out of sight. He was last seen at 1:15 PM.
