Hi Tweeters,

I finally saw the Swainson's Hawk today at about 3:45pm in its usual spot on
La Frambois Road south of Vancouver Lake, Clark County.....it was perched on
the "welcome" sign to the right of the road just after the cattle guard -
surveying the territory like he owned it.....

Nice bird!

Back in Battle Ground, I'm enjoying the large flocks of Pine Siskins that
have descended into the neighborhood over the last several days. There are
at least several hundred plus one American Goldfinch which seems to fit
right in. A flyby Peregrine was a nice surprise today also.

Keep your eyes and ears skyward.
