Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday December 4. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls

The Peoria PYRRHULOXIA continues to be seen. A PALM WARBLER is also in the
Peoria area. The SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER is still on the North Spit of
Coos Bay.

High numbers of BROWN PELICANS remain along the coast, in company with some
HEERMANN?S GULLS

On November 30 two PALM WARBLERS and 26 LAPLAND LONGSPURS were at Flores
Lake near Cape Blanco. A late NASHVILLE WARBLER and a CASSIN?S VIREO were
seen November 28 in Bandon. On November 30 a RUFF was seen along East Bay
Drive in Coos Bay. A LARK SPARROW was at the Marine Science Center on
Yaquina Bay November 29. On November 26 a TREE SPARROW was seen near Depoe
Bay.

On November 27 an immature SWAINSON?S HAWK was photographed at the Shillapoo
WMA near Vancouver Lake. It has remained. A HARRIS?S SPARROW was seen
November 29 at nearby Vancouver Lake Park. On November 29 a kettle of six
TURKEY VULTURES was over Eugene.

On November 27 a WHITE-WINGED SCOTER was on the Columbia River at Sand
Station in Umatilla Co. A LONG-TAILED DUCK was at the south end of Upper
Klamath Lake November 29. The Joseph/Enteprise area of Northeast Oregon now
contains PINE GROSBEAKS, BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS, TREE SPARROWS, and WHITE-WINGED
CROSSBILLS. Six BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS were in Richland November 29.
