This past Sunday conditions were pretty foggy and photos taken of this gull
have been shared with others. Consensus is this gull should NOT be called a
Slaty-backed. Although under the conditions the back appeared very dark
compared to surrounding GW and GWxW hybrids, the photos do not show that to
be the case.



So I'm retracting the ID.
