Hi, I recently posted a new blog on my spot http://sawwhetsnew.blogspot.com/ about the Research Center in Eilat. I don't remember if I had already posted this, please forgive me if I already did, I have been sick in bed for the past week, but am now finally feeling better, so I really don't remember........ I also posted a bit about the snorkling experience we had, my octopus was the icing on the cake!!!! And for those who missed reading the list of birds we saw on this trip, it is there as well.......I will be adding more about my trip, after I get caught up at home here, (my suitcase is not unpacked yet, still a few things to put away~~~_ Also my husband is really wanting to get a scope now, and we can only afford about $1,000-$1,500 (this is busting our budget, and I am looking at a Nikon. I have owned a Nikon for YEARS and it is just really tired, and I need something with a bigger lens for digiscoping, I would have had lots of great pics of beautiful birds if I had a way to do it while in Israel...the scope I am looking at is a Nikon Fieldscope 25-75x82 ED Angled Spotting Scope, listed on Eagle Optics, for a reasonable price. It isn't what I want, but I can't afford the one I really want, so I think this would do for a good while. Does anyone here have any experience with this scope?Have a great week!!!! VickiVicki Biltz
