We were at Alki south of the lighthouse last weekend and saw many (20-30+)
black turnstones, surf birds and sanderlings. Also, lots of Harlequins.

While photographing a male and female Harlequin duck Sunday, I noticed two
Black Turnstones at the water's edge south of the Alki lighthouse. This is
my first ID of this bird and I was unsure whether to post its appearance.
After seeing the last post, I thought I should mention it. Happy Birding.
