Subject: [Tweeters] Port Townsend Turnstone - one more data point

On November 7, 2004, Heather and I walked the marina trail and located 109
Black Turnstones, 71 Black-bellied Plovers, 400 Dunlin and 80 Sanderlings
on the old pilings and dock. When we walked the trail last month, the old
pilings had all been removed.

It will be interesting to see if the turnstones are there in large numbers
throughout the winter or if they disperse further and the season
progresses.
