I was at the marsh near Emerald Downs today. There were huge flocks of Pintails, Green-winged Teals, Mallards and American Wigeons. There was also a huge flock of shorebirds, very spectacular, but I only had a pair of old binoculars with me. Can anybody tell me what I was seeing?
?
I made a guess that they were Dunlins. Another birder came by and saw some other shorebirds out further in the water.
?
This is certainly a plce to keep coming back to.
