This evening my wife observed an owl chasing one of the Eastern Gray
Squirrels that frequent our yard. She alerted me to its presence and we relocated it
in a Douglas Fir in the adjacent yard. We had some great looks at it perched
about 12 feet above us on one of the lower branches - a very open section of
the foliage.

My owl luck seems to be improving!
