Interesting article! I do recall a Snowy Owl on top of a mast on a US
Navy troop transport two days out of New York on the way to Europe in
October many years ago. Now so far this fall/winter I have not seen
any reports of them in the Northwest? Are they going unreported, or
will the current Arctic Blast bring them down?
