One more idea for keeping a hummingbird feeder warm might be Heat Tape. Its that insulated wire that you wrap around water pipes in unheated crawlspaces to keep them from freezing. Comes in various styles. I imagine it would work - try taping it to a feeder with electrical tape. It plugs into an outlet so is easy to remove when not needed. Should be available in most big hardware stores. As usual, google for more info.
