I just got a report from a qualified source saying that 4-7 turkey
vultures were seen over Union Bay this morning. Has anyone else seen
any. Kind of weird weather for turkey vultures, but I once noted that
there were a bunch of mid-winter birds up in Ontario. I asked a
fellow raptor friend how come, and he said "we have lots of dead
stuff up here!"

Anyway, enjoy this weather and let me know if you see any wandering
vultures heading south.
