This morning I saw my first Varied Thrush of the season, a male, at my
place near Black Lake (sw of Olympia), Thurston County. This is rather
late for a first sighting here compared with recent years:

2005: Dec. 9th
2004: not seen here this winter
2003: not seen here this winter
2002: Nov. 28th
2001: Nov. 22nd
2000: Nov. 18th
