I saw my first varied thrush of the year at my house this morning and it was
very fat and gorgeous. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera as I was out
doing chores.

I have a male and 2 female Anna's hummingbirds coming to my feeders all day.
The male is gorgeous and has two favorite perches in my rhododendrons where
he spends most of the day. I was able to get some good photos of him
yesterday through my upstairs bathroom window (opened) and put a couple of
them on my website in the "last uploads" section.

You will also see some recent photos from the Reifel Migratory Bird
Sanctuary. In particular I was lucky to find a peregrine falcon that had
apparently just finished a meal. It has a lot of fresh blood on the feathers
of its underside. I was excited to get these images.
