Tweets,

This questionnaire came in through the WOS web site, and I thought posting
it here would be the best way to get the word out.

Hello,
My name is Kelsey Kilgore and I am a senior at the Maryland Institute
College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland. My friend and I (Franz Amelang) are
enrolled in a class entitled "American Folk Life and Folk Art," in which we
are currently working on a community-base research project. We are both
beginning birders and have recently begun participating in outings with the
Baltimore Bird Club here in Maryland, both studying birders as a community
of individuals and becoming part of the community ourselves.

We were hoping to gather information from birders across the country as a
way to report on the various people who consider themselves part of the
birding community. Once we collect all of the feedback we will compile it
all together as a final report for our community-based investigation.

If you would be willing to participate it would be much appreciated! You
can provide as little or as much information as you would like--really
anything would be helpful. Also, if there is anyone you think would like to
participate, like members of your birding association, please pass on the
questionnaire. The questionnaire can be emailed back to me
atronald.enoch at gmail.com

Thank you for your time!
Kelsey Kilgore
