Two Anna's Hummingbirds were locked in aerial battle today near their
feeder, just outside my front window, in West Seattle. They had their talons
locked together and were noisily flying sideways/backwards away from the
feeder (I wish I could have understood what they were saying, although I
have a pretty good idea.) After covering about twenty feet one, or both of
them, released the grip and they went their separate ways. Also had a flock
of American Goldfinches visit the birch tree, from which hangs a thistle
feeder, which was not visited.

That's all.
