Today a Varied Thrush joined the list of yard birds posted earlier this
week. The only bird not seen regularly is the Anna's Hummingbird. I don't have
a hummingbird feeder and haven't had since mid-June. When on vacation for
three weeks the hummingbirds left for neighbor's feeders and I couldn't coax
them back. I hope they still have feeders up.

Also today I had 7 American Crow land in the backyard. They didn't land
anywhere near the feeders and were there only momentarily. With 6 - 8 inches of
snow on the ground I have no idea what they were up to.
