Dear Tweeters,
I think I have another "first" bird for my yard. This is possibly a Fox sparrow. This bird was foraging on the ground in the old leaves with a few song sparrows, some golden crowned sparrows, and lots of juncos. He jumped up on the fence when I took this picture. He is the size of the golden-crowned sparrows and lacks the grey eyebrow of the song sparrow. His streaking looks like it is in "rows" down his chest. Thanks for all the ID help.

It has been such an exciting winter of "first" birds, but I really wish the varied thrush and downy woodpecker would pay me a visit since I have a better lens for my camera now.
