around 1530ish, there were about 4-5 swans floating along the lake sammamish shoreline just south of marymoor park (near 187th), but i was driving and so couldn't see which varietal...

Seven trumpeter swans just landed in front on my home on Pine Lake. There are three white adults and four younger swans that are slightly gray. I've lived on Pine Lake for 7-1/2 years and this is a new one for my "Pine Lake List"! Our end of the lake is somewhat frozen, and we've had two Bald Eagles trying to catch their lunch throughout the day. I hope we don't see any more of that drama today involving the swans!
