i'm fairly new to birdwatching so it has taken me a while to figure
out the little chickadee-looking bird with the large white marking on
its back was actually a mountain chickadee. It/they have been
visiting my feeders daily since about September. An unusual
visitor to Bainbridge Island, I would think?

I too have spotted my first varied thrush of the season. During the
storm on Thursday.
