I've lived here in Bothell for about 25 years now and have never seen
this: this morning just before 1000 I was crossing the freeway going
south over 522, just before the Bothell Costco, and there were, by
estimate, 3,000+ snow geese winging their way south just over the
freeway. I thought, are they going to Marymoor? but of course
couldn't tell from the road I was on. Anyway, it was impressive.

At home, I've had what everyone else seems to have: lots of juncos,
towhees, chickadees, nuthatches, varied thrushes (mine have been here
about two months), several woodpeckers, Steller's jays, crows, etc.
Enough to keep me busy filling feeders. Wish I had hummingbirds, but
they don't seem to like the heavily conifered areas here.
