Hello tweets,
I have a few pictures I recently took in my yard of the Anna's hummingbirds in the snow. I have just opened a flickr account and this is my first attempt at sharing pictures online...so bear with me! I hope you like these. I also included some pictures I took a year or two ago of a Great Blue Heron catching a bullfrog in the pond behind my house. I had heard a very strange "screaming" noise and investigated. The heron initially had 2 bullfrogs, but dropped one. As soon as it caught this one, a bald eagle came and swooped the heron, causing it to drop the frog and fly away (being chased by the eagle). I was too shocked and it all happened too fast to photograph the eagle. Enjoy!
