Subject: [Tweeters] Christmas birding at home

We can't get out because of the slush and ice, so we've been watching the birds at the feeder and in the surrounding trees. Today was very fruitful - a towhee without a tail, fox and song sparrows, a pair of flickers, purple finches, a horde of juncos flashing around, chickadees ditto, one red-breasted sapsucker and one nuthatch ditto, several varied thrushes, and two deer.
Maybe we'll be able to get out of the driveway tomorrow.
Merry Christmas, tweeters.
