Dear Tweeters,
7 trumpeter swans have been feeding off Matthews Beach since yesterday afternoon (Christmas Day, Dec. 25th). Two more arrived this afternoon. As I look out my kitchen window I can still see them 5 of them off the swimming beach and 4 more near the sandbar that is at the mouth of Thornton Creek. It is about 4:30 PM and getting dark. I hope they will still be around tomorrow. It is a lovely sight in this Christmas season.!!!!
