this summer there was a strange duck at Black River Riparian Forest in Renton. It was much larger than the mallards or any other duck seen at BR. The other ducks tolerated the stranger but it was often seen by itself. My friends & I thought it must be a hybrid of some sort. Or an escaped domestic duck. Guess "domestics" are hybrids, eh?

How big is "your" duck? Do you have any shots of it standing up? or in relation to other ducks?
